Sticky Chicken Wings
Tonight I made Sticky Chicken Wings for my Little Nick especially!! He loves these. I baked them so I could make them healthier and less fattening. They came out wonderful. They are simple and tasty and any child's favorite meal. When I clean the wings, I snip off the last tip of the wing. There is no meat on it and it's just useless! haha .... I used a store bought BBQ Sauce and Hidden Valley's Salsa Ranch Dressing for dipping. For the working mom this makes your cooking and prepping time so much shorter. If you have the time, make your own BBQ Sauce and Dipping Sauce. They could be used for other meals through the week, like spare ribs in the oven or BLT Salad...YUM.... Hope you like them. Enjoy!!
20 Chicken wings cleaned and snipped
1/4 cup of Flat Leaf Parsley
Salt and Pepper to taste
3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1/3 cup of White Wine
8 ounces of Moore's Honey BBQ Sauce
Hidden Valley Salsa Ranch for dipping
4 Celery sticks cleaned and cut into strips
Preheat oven to 375. Ok so I cleaned and snipped my Chicken Wings and put them into the glass casserole dish shown in the picture above. Then I added the wine and mixed together. Then add Olive Oil. Then I added the salt & pepper to chicken. Lastly, add the Parsley and put into oven for 1 hour, flipping 40 minutes into baking so as to brown the other side. When Chicken is cooking clean your celery and put into a Ziploc baggie until ready to use. Once Chicken is cooked, take them out and place them into a large mixing bowl. Let stand for 10 minutes so they are not to hot to handle. Then add some of the BBQ Sauce and turn thoroughly, while retaining a 2 tablespoons of the BBQ Sauce for drizzling at the end. Place into a Serving bowl and drizzle the rest of the BBQ Sauce. Put the Salsa ranch dressing in a bowl or serve together, like above picture and add the celery sticks for garnish and eating. Enjoy!!
