Holiday Deviled Eggs



Easter Deviled Eggs
 
 
Hey Everyone!! Happy Easter!! I thought I would make something fun for the kiddies and I was right they all loved these!! They are super easy and the idea was given to me by my dear friend Wendy Marshal Sapp!! Thank Wendy!! I did my own deviled egg mix but I stayed true to an original recipe. Hope you all like these, they are actually so much fun to make with the kids!! They will absolutely love them! Enjoy!
 
 
Ingredients:
 
18 eggs- Hard boiled
food coloring
2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
1/2 cup low fat Mayonaise
Salt & Pepper to taste
 
Directions:
 
Boil 18 eggs in water until hard boiled. I ususally wait 20 minutes or until I see a crack in one egg. Then I know that the eggs are hard boiled. In the meantime, set up your food coloring with the directions on the box. I used 20 drops in each container and the eggs were dyed in about 10 minutes. A friend of mine said that it took her 2 hours to get achieved color but she may not have added the same amount of drops that I did. Peel sheels off eggs and cut egg white in half. Then take out cooked yolk and place in a separate mixing bowl. Place the egg halves in different food colors. I placed 5 in each bowl. They were colored to my liking in 10 minutes. Take egg whites out of food coloring and dry off on a clean cloth. Then place them into appropriate tray. Then once you have all the egg yolks in a bowl, add the mustard, mayo, salt and pepper. Mix well and scoop into egg white halves. You can sprinkle paprika on the finished deviled egg but I did not because the kiddies in my family do not like it!!  Enjoy !!
